Q & A
What can you expect on your first visit?
On your first visit, the coaches will show you the basic steps … how to stand, how to hold your hands … how to throw basic punches. You don’t need to have prior experience.
Come in comfortable training clothes, running shoes. If you have, bring a pair of boxing gloves and hand-wraps. If you don’t have these yet, its ok we can lend you one for the first session.
You don’t need an appointment, just show up to any of the session times and talk to the coach.
Starting something new is always scary and confusing….especiall something like boxing. That is how we grow….by doing the hard things and experiencing new things in life. So we encourage you to make that first step and come to a session. We are looking forward to meeting you.
Don’t be afraid to make that first step, the gym is like a family. We know what it’s like to try something new. Everyone will help and support you to become a better version of yourself.

The Coaches
Ruben Pineiro Sanchez
Ruben Pineiro Sanchez born and raised in Cuba with over 10 years experience of boxing as an amateur, at a national level. Studied at the University of Cuba for 6 years completing a bachelor degree of sport science & culture studies and continued on another 4 years to complete his masters. Rubens coaching experience going over 20 years now, has been with countless champions on a national and international level in Cuba and worldwide. Ruben works hard with determination and love for the sport of boxing, always getting successful results through all his boxers.
Ruben will give you the opportunity to participate in the sport of boxing in a safe friendly club environment.
Ruben Pineiro Mora
Ruben is 4 times state champion Boxer in WA, 3 times golden glove champion and 2 times silver glove champion. He came 2nd place in the 2021 Australian Boxing championship. He has competed in over 45 fights and has 7 years overall experience in the ring.
Born and raised in Cuba, Ruben learned the Cuban art of Boxing from his dad, Ruben Sr. .
Ruben Jr. holds certificates 3 and 4 in Sports and recreation. Recently he coached UFC fighter Marco Bertran.
Ruben competes himself and coaches, giving you real life experience and knowledge.
